Once your DSL tail is delivered on to our network there is no contention. We do not over-subscribe our peering or transit links in the interests of cost saving, but prefer to have at least 50% available capacity on any one link leaving ample capacity for all our services to be able to burst.
Always know where your connection is! With a static IP, or multiple IPs on some packages, you are able to run services on your connection and always know the address to connect to.
Most packages allow you to set your own PTR, or reverse DNS records, on your IP addresses. This means that when someone sees you connecting to their service they will see your own choice of name rather than our generic one.
Unlike other providers, we do not employ any firewalling, traffic shaping or port blocking on our network. This means you have a clean Internet connection unhindered in every way.
All DSL accounts are able to use our backup dial service should the DSL line should fail. This service means you can keep your IPs, and even configure it to be automatically dialled in the event of a DSL outage. The service supports MLPPP bonding for up to 128Kbps over ISDN.
Be one of the first to get native end-user IPv6 connectivity in the UK. Our entire network is IPv6 enabled allowing you to access both the IPv4 and IPv6 Internet simultaneously without the use of tunnels.
We offer native IPv4 multicast to all DSL subscribers. The service supports both IGMP and PIM-SM with an Anycast Rendevouz-Point (RP). Multicast is an emerging technology for more efficient use of bandwidth in video and audio streaming amongst other applications.
We provide solutions to consumers, home users, small business, large business and enterprise solutions. All services receive the same care and attention and carry the same powerful features as one another. This enables your connectivity to grow along with your business without having to re-invest significantly.
