Leased Line

Goscomb Technologies Limited is a provider of high speed dedicated leased line service across the UK delivered over copper or fibre circuits. All leased lines are terminated directly in to a well connected network which provides connectivity to all services including the rest of the Internet.

What is a Leased Line?

A leased line is a dedicated internet connection with no contention ratio, usually delivered to your office or place of work, to provide fast Internet access for both servers and staff. Your full line speed is available, uncontended, at all times allowing fast and stable access to the Internet. In addition, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) superior to those of broadband circuits are supplied on all services with guaranteed resolution times should a fault occur.

All leased line connection installations include a managed Cisco or Juniper router and the connection is presented to you as a standard ethernet connection.

UK Leased Line Availability

As a UK-based ISP, Goscomb Technologies are able to offer leased line connectivity with speeds of 64Kbps up to 10Gbps (full duplex) nationwide. You may either purchase the full bandwidth available over the circuit or commit to a data rate (CDR) billed on 95th percentile (to allow for bursting) or capped to a fixed speed.

In order to connect your premesis to the Goscomb Technologies core network a supplier will be chosen (from providers such as BT, Neos and Global Crossing) to provide a dedicated point to point connection between your location and the nearest Goscomb Technologies point of presence. All circuits are monitored by Goscomb Technologies and the appropriate telco 24×7 and any loss in service is immediately escalated.

Whilst most connections are Internet leased lines, point-to-point connections are also available, including Metro Ethernet service within London and Manchester.
