Goscomb Technologies today announces the availability of its 24Mbps broadband services to the general public

IP TRANSIT
STATIC OR BGP ROUTED

Goscomb Technologies Limited offers both full & parital IP transit services via its multihomed, redundant, BGP4 network (AS39326) in a number of London colocation facilities.

More information on our network can be found on our network page including detailed information on upstreams and peering arrangements. Transit is available in the following locations, however the network can be expanded to other locations depending on the monthly CDR taken by a new client.

Traffic is measured using the 95th percentile method and overage is billed at the same per-mbps price as the CDR pricing. Clients are provided with a password protected area which shows their usage and current 95th percentile values, which is updated every 5 minutes. All connections are burstable to full wire-speed.

1Gbps ports are also available on request however a port fee may apply for commits under 60Mbps.

All monthly prices stated are per megabit. Setup charges are not recurring, and there is no fee to upgrade to a higher CDR. Cabling fees are not included.

Partial Transit

Goscomb Technologies also offers partial transit consisting of routes from LINX, LoNAP, AMS-IX, NL-IX, PaNAP and MerieX. This product allows you to reach approimately 28% of the internet at a reduced cost.

Partial transit incurs a port charge of £10 per month and traffic is billed at £3.50 per megabit on the 95th percentile.

Delivery

Full & partial IP Transit can be delivered to you as a BGP or statically routed feed over ethernet (fibre available for 1Gbps ports). Should you wish to use BGP and do not have the experience we also offer a network consultancy service and can help set up and maintain your network. We can also assist you in applying for your own ASN (Autonomous System Number) and PI (Provider Independant) address space should this be required.

Connections are usually turned up within 5 working days, although can be arranged more quickly should the need for transit be urgent (additional costs may apply).
