Goscomb Technologies Limited is a London (UK) based Network and Content Provider servicing customers from across the globe. Based on a redundantly routed network core in London, Goscomb Technologies is able to offer a range of services from simple website hosting thru colocation to BGP IP transit at gigabit speeds.

  • Goscomb Services - Colocation, IP Transit & Hosting

    Goscomb Technologies Limited offers a wide range of network and hosting products based on its solid BGP4 network. All services are housed in our "state of the art" colocation facility which provides redundant networking and power, security and peace of mind.

    • Colocation London

      When taking a colocation package with us, you also get an included amount of bandwidth which can be delivered over our IP address space, or via a BGP feed. Your bandwidth will be provided over our Juniper routed network with the default gateway terminated on a pair of routers using VRRP for failover. Additional network ports on seperate switches are available for increased redundancy.

    • Dedicated Hosting

      Want your own server but don't want to fork out for the hardware? Dedicated Servers are the perfect solution for you. Rent a server from us and we will install it and manage the hardware for you. You still get full root access as if it were your own machine!

    • DNS Hosting

      The DNS service is available on a per-domain pricing scheme, with bulk discounts available. All domains, whether purchased as a block or added individually over time are managed via our customer portal. This allows you 24 hour access to your zone files via an easy to use interface. You can manage A, CNAME, NS, TXT (SPF) and MX records, along with all zone settings (e.g. TTL). Nameservers are updated in real-time to reflect the chages you have made.

    • Register Domains

      Owning your own domain has never been easier & is the start to putting yourself & your company on the map of the world wide web. Businesses use them for advertising their products & services & use them to keep in contact with their customers. Other people may use them to keep in touch with their friends & family, be it in the form of a blog, a forum or even use it to publish their CV to impress a potential employer.

    • IP Transit

      Goscomb Technologies Limited offers both full & parital IP transit services via its multihomed, redundant, BGP4 network (AS39326) in a number of London colocation facilities.

    • Leased Line - Fibre & Copper

      A leased line is a dedicated internet connection with no contention ratio. Your full line speed is available, uncontended at all times. As well as this, SLAs superior to those of ADSL/SDSL circuits are available with quick resolution times should a fault occur. All circuits include a managed Cisco or Juniper router and the connection is presented to you as a standard ethernet port.

    • Reseller Hosting

      Reseller Hosting is perfect for those starting out as web hosts, website devlopers and designers and those with more than a few sites.
      We use DirectAdmin for all our reseller accounts (for cPanel, see below), based on top of FreeBSD servers. Servers are all Dell PowerEdge machines and feature Intel Xeon processors as a minimum specification providing ample processing power.

    • Virtual Private Server - VPS

      A virtual private server (also referred to as a virtual dedicated server or a virtual server, and abbreviated VPS or VDS) is a method of partitioning one physical server computer into multiple servers that each has the appearance and capabilities of running on its own dedicated machine. Each virtual server can run its own full-fledged operating system, and each server can be independently rebooted.

    • SDSL & ADSL

      Goscomb Technologies offers high end, consumer and business broadband featuring a low contention ratio within the UK over BT phone lines using both ADSL (Asynchronous Digital Subscriber Line) and SDSL (Synchronous Digital Subscriber Line) technologies. All lines are terminated directly in to our network which provides connectivity to all services, including the rest of the Internet. This service is perfect as a partner to colocation and dedicated server clients to give fast access to their servers, or as a stand-alone product for new customers who wish to take advantage of our network.

    Goscomb Technologies was first launched as a Sole Trader in 2000 to provide bespoke consultancy services to clients. These services included programming and website development, and of course... web hosting. We saw the need for growth in the hosting industry and hence now focus on the hosting, colocation and networks market; our consultancy services are still available however.

      Goscomb Technologies operates 2 primary PoPs (where our routers are located) at Telehouse East and iP House. We also have a number of smaller PoPs where we can accept transit customers, private peering and transit connections.

    • Goscomb Network

      Goscomb Technologies Limited owns and operates a BGP4 routed network running on AS39326. The network is built on a multiple ring architecture and uses multiple high-availability protocols to allow near-hitless failover of all core routers and switches. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported natively across the entire network.
